An English Storytelling Competition was held on 10 June 2010 at the Main Stage of Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) during the Read Malaysia Bookfair. The English Storytelling Competition was jointly organised by MINES Event Management Sdn Bhd and Hup Lick Publishing (M) Sdn Bhd.
Participants at the competition were well-prepared and some wore elaborate and colourful costumes to add flavour to their stories.
At the competition, participants did everything to express their confidence and skills at storytelling in English. What an exciting competition!
The winners of the English Storytelling Competition (Group A) were: (from 3rd left ): 2nd prize winner : Kuik Jie Yi, 1st prize winner : Sachvienaash Bhardwaj, and 3rd prize winner : Syarmitra Devi.
The winners of the English Storytelling Competition (Group B) were: (from left): 2nd prize winner : Alicia Kwan Su Huey, 1st prize winner : Ainul Afifi Zarifah Bt Mazlan, and 3rd prize winner : Liang Jiun Ni.
